I have a xenium ice soderless adapter chip installed on my xbox. I recently added the evo m8 bios to the chip and successfully installed it however, I can't connect to xbox live anymore. When I try to troubleshoot the problem under my normal xbox bios it tells me that some hardware or software had been modified. Under the evo bios it troubleshoots without a problem it just won't connect when I ask it to. Can someone help please help me...

evox m8 doesn;t block the live ports. so you connected to live or a live aware game connected to live and you didn't know it.

So live should be working? Should I burn a retail bios to my chip again or what should I do from here to be able to get live back onto my bios?

Sorry, I'm pretty sure your eeprom has been banned from live. You will have to get an eeprom from an unbanned xbox and flash your xbox with it and relock your hd with the new key.

wow that sounds extremly complicated... Can I find the eeprom from the same places you can find bios? Do you have any clue as to how I get another hd key? well sounds like I'm fucked!

well I'm a newb, just getting evo installed took me weeks to do. Do you have any recommendations that could aid in my search for all the things I need to have?

alright noob..... heres where to get a new eeprom...

XS buy sell and trade forums...

$5 gets you an eeprom....

unlock your hard drive first....

get config magic... send the eeprom file to your xbox.... have config magic flash it to your eeprom....

Thanks for the help, by the way quick question about the evo bios I have installed, is it any good now? All I am really looking for is playing backup games and using live...thanks again

m8 is fine.... play backups on m8

use the REAL xbox bios to play on live though or you will be banned again....

sweet thanks for the quick help...Oh one last question and I promise I will leave you the hell alone. Once I have installed the bios how can I actually get the dashboard installed. Because when I tried to put the cd in while it loaded the evo bios it just told me the xbox live thing and didn't add the dashboard or anything like that. Thanks again.

the Xenium OS 2 has a built in FTP and samba server....

so point your ftp client to your xbox's ip address.... (guess or sometimes your router will tell you)
Username: Xbox
password: Xbox

or type \\xbox\ in Internet explorer and you can browse your xbox like a computer on your windows network

i was captured by m$ and made into a super cyborg with xbox modding knowledge....

i just read all the tutorials and i realize that the path to xbox enlightenment is a hard path so some need a little guidance...
