its cool im glad to help, so many other tutorials have helped me so its the least i can do.  We have all these great programs to use on the xbox that people spend hours upon hours coding so we can backup games, play .avi's, etc.. so i plan to write a few more on softmodding and other modchips if i can get my hands on more  <

i repeat:

i disapprove of solderless adaptors.... they deprive you of the skills needed for other mods and they turn you into a n00b....  <

Newbie (n00b) means novice. Everyone is a "n00b" in the beginning, you can't be "turned into" one.

Some people either do not have (nor want) the appropriate equipment for soldering, or  lack confidence in their ability to perform the task. A wise person is one who knows their limitations and pursues alternate methods (instead of getting in over their heads and really screwing up).

Solderless adaptors have their place. Are solder installs better? Of course. But there are occasions where the solderless adapter is the right choice for someone.  <

Yes as soon as i do an install where someone wants a solderless adapter instead of solder ill take pics and write a tutorial.  I wish i could work out a way for modchip makers to send me a modchip so i could write in depth tutorials on how to install their chip, that would be great, i dont mind doing it at all lmao  <
