I just down loaded it and try to start it up but it say I am missing a file Jkeyboard.xip

The problem is, I dont have that file anywhere!?!

I looked in my back up drive from a long time ago, and it isnt in there either. Could my dash be to old? It is one of the first ones out there. I bought it the day that came out.

The file is in your "xboxdashdata.1012a700" dir.

Make sure you have the right version and then just copy all the files in that dir and the xboxdash.xbe file to the WinXap dir and run the WinXap.exe

Worked great for me... no hassle, just click, click and its done.

Great.....if you find any bugs...please notify me for prompt fix. Want to get it done quickly as possible...so i can move on to a much more powerful version that would include submenus, and maindash entries.

What if my dash is a different version? I guess it doesnt work then? Do I need to update it on xbox live or what? I just tried the program and I get error 21 when I try to load xboxdash.xbe.

BTW its xboxdashdata.10027100

lol hey dfunked im not newb! lol i know how do u use winrar man. lol but i dunt have it on my computer and im using winace, should there be a problem?? since ive never had one like this b4 but let me check out winrar anywas, thnks for the idea

edit:: thnks win rar worked, though i never though that winace wooldnt be able to do it thnks agian

Great work Xtech!

I tried it before realizing it needed the live dash, perhaps you should include that in the readme? Lot of people gonna dl this like me that don't have a clue and "xboxdashdata.1012a700" didn't help much

Can't wait for the next version of it, fantastic!

Thanks Xtech, its a great program!

i used it on my non-live dash and it kind of works.
i can access the "Memory" and "Music" parts and also the new menu screen.
but the main menu screen is a bit messed up.

is this what it looks like on a edited LIVE dash?

i also had that problem, and then did the same thing dunny did and it worked
