Making Bios For 2.3b Lite +

when making BIOS.bin for the 2.3b lite + what exactly do i do when using x2bm vol.2.
have been to the team xecuter tutorial and it shows u what to do for pro and lite not my 2 bank lite + chip
i have  the 4981.06_256k.bin now if i put it in bank 1 and 2 to make it 512kb does that mean i have that bin on both my banks and can't get cromwell any longer, i heard thats bad.
i am so confused because the software offers me 4 banks yet the hardware offers 2
are they referring to the same thing???? someone anyone plz help am drowning here and have spent days trying to surf around and find an answer  <

This is the tutorial you've read right? I have a 2.3b Lite + chip and I followed this tutorial and everything works great. If you make a 512k bios you will flash it to bank 1 and so bank 2 will still have cromwell on it (as the 2.3b lite + has a total of 1024k) incase you make a mistake or wish to flash a different bios on your chip easily.

Just do what the tut says. Each bank is 512k. This means that you will not lose cromwell.  <

Yeah so long as you keep cromwell on bank 2 and dont flash any higher than a 512k bios :)  <

i have the same chip so if i understand correctly, i just take my 256k bios and only flash it to the first and second memory banks?  leave the third and fourth alone?  i also have another question:  for the bios, i'm using the x2_4973_v1.1_256k .bin, i also noticed there is the same file except with a v1.0.  whats the difference?  thanks for the help.  <
