Need Help!

I installed an Xecuter 2.3b Lite+ into my version 1.0 xbox. I flashed it with 4977 bios. After this the xbox shutdown and everything worked fine. Now I want to install an 80 gb harddrive into it, but when I put in the harddrive all I get is an error 13 and the dvd drive wont open. What did i do wrong or what do i need to do?  <

did you read the tutorial BEFORE you swaped hd?  <

u need to make a New hd installer CD and insert that then tuen off the xbox and turn it back on.. check the tut section in xbox-scene  <
