How can I get it to boot from FatX HD.... The FatX Icon lights up and there is the linuxconf file present, but it doesn´t boot...

When i tried booting up with that version all i got was a black screen and nothing would work.

when that happens to me i get a few icons at the bottom fatx/cdrom to choose what u wanna boot from press the eject button when the fatx icon is highlighted works for me

By game partition, did you mean f:?

Because if you do, the boot loader is designed to load off the e:

Linux automatically ejects the DVD drive on startup. Close the tray immediately by pushing the Eject button on your Xbox and it should boot from HD.

But they really have to implement a more elegant way, my idea would be command line parameters (which probably can be coded in a snap) or different versions of the file for each way to boot.
