I have installed SmartXX v2.0 on my v1.2 box(Quicksolder).
Update the OS from 3318(came with the chip) to 3321.
Backup my EEPROM, and backup my stock HD to my PC.
turn off the box, unplug the IDE cable from DVD-ROM and make my Maxtor 120GB,Model# 6Y120L0, SLAVE(No Jumpers on the HD for SLAVE mode)
leave the Stock as Cable Select.
Turn the box on, go into to Hdd-disk tool section by holding 2 buttons(R, L) and pressing A.

Select FORMAT CACHE + BFR, press A. box says Format Ready(is it DONE? or READY to format??!!) OK, press A. Came back to Hdd-Disk tool screen.

Select FORMAT C, press A. box says Format Ready OK, press A, Format Ready OK on the screen again(seems like it didn't do anything), press A. Came back to Hdd-Disk tool screen.

Select FORMAT E, press A. box says Format E Ready OK, press A, Format E Ready OK on the screen again, press A. Came back to Hdd-Disk tool screen.

Select FORMAT F, press A. box says Format F Ready OK, press A, blank screen except default SmartXX screen. came back with saying Format F Ready OK, press A. Came back to Hdd-Disk tool screen.

Go back to mail screen, and shutdown the box.

Unplug the 120GB HD, and swap it with stock HD. Make jumper setting on 120GB HD to CS(Cable Select).

Attach the DVD-ROM. turn the box on
Go back into Hdd-Disk Tool, lock the 120GB HD.

Box reboots, start ED on Chip 0.0.4.
From my PC, ftp to it.

I see C, D, E ,F, X, Y, Z.
go into C, empty. Try to copy files/dirs from backup on PC.

550 Can't create directory: Operation not permitted

BTW, Could you downgrade the OS from 3321 to 3319??
Tried it, OS won't let me do it.. Box just reboots with 3321 OS
