Hoping Someone Can Help With This
« on: August 24, 2004, 03:38:00 PM »

problem: i think that would be because you locked the new harddrive with the old harddrives password. you need to generate the password for the new harddrive then lock it with that. this can only be done with a backup of the eeprom, which you cannot access without a hard drive.

solution: install a modchip or flash the tsop.

EDIT: also what fonts are you using? if it is not the UDE then i strongly recommend getting the UDE

You need the eeprom.bin in order to lock the new drive..  with that file either liveinfo, or xboxhdm can generate the new password for the new drive.  Without the eeprom.bin, you need to atleast borrow a modchip to get it working by retrieving eeprom.bin.
