Yeah MK, but when did u get it? I got mine in April 2004 and i think it was patched. I made sure that the save was fine and everything but it still refused. Im REALLY sure that it was patched.

How do ya mean "patched"??

Did you download some Game content from Live!? that can cause it to fail?

Refesh my memory: do other MA gamesaves work on your xbox?

i mean like it has been made so that it is not possible to load the save. anyway, i am not on xbox live so no chance there. none of the other MA gamesaves work, maybe because i am only using one MA game.
so can u answer my question which was when did u get the game?

I got my version of MA about a year ago, however a friend of mine got one to run my hack about 4 months ago, again I belive it was from amazon..

Did you ensure it was the old MA in the green case and not some "special" edition? Like a "classics" one or something like that??

If I were you, Id get on eBay and hunt down an old version and flog yer current OR rent it, see if it works and then you will know for sure...

its in a normal case (green) and looks like the normal, not the classics. maybe its my xbox? i got it in Janurary this year? i dont know at the moment.

I belive you could use this with a USB thunb drive, as long as you have software that is compatible with Action Replay saves?

I couldnt say really, I only have a standard 8mb memory card..

The autosave ViOTeK was talkin about was the 'MechWarrior' save which stopped the package from loading. Even if u delete it it still comes back on to the HD automatically.
Well at least ive hunted down Mechassualt!

Hey, great package, I'm just having one problem.  I followed the FTP setup instructions and everything worked fine.  I can turn fonts on and they works fine.  When I goto turn fonts off, I get "An error occured while unzipping ".  Error Code: 0".  It renames the original ST.DB to ST.OR but it doesn't unpack the hacked ST.DB.  I have even recopied the zip over so I know it's not corrupt.  Any thoughts?

1. You need dashboard 4920 for the audio hack. Please downgrade.

How do you downgrade or can someone give me a link?

There is no simple link, you need to use the files off of SlaYers Install disc.  There was just an update this week so look in news section for SlaYers 2.6 and where to obtain it.  As for how to install the files do a search in the forums for downgrade AND dash AND 4920.  That should lead you to some post explain exactly what files you need to copy over and what existing ones to delete.

yeah and also this package is ooold. You guys are all better of with newer and safer exploits like the UDE which don't have clock loop problems and don't mess with your soundtracks and making you have to switch and all.
