Installed Xchip and powered up V1.6 XBOX before I found out about V1.6 compatible BIOS issue. I used a friends PC to load the BIOS he used on his solderless (V1.0) install which of course was the wrong version. Now I'm getting red/green frag with the xchip connected or disconnected.  

(I've checked all of the soldering with an ohm meter (seems OK), plus I've loaded the correct xchip_v1.3-1.6box_only.bin)

Should I just plan a trip to the EB Games to get another xbox? Or is this fixable?

Remove all your wiring and see if powers up normally,1sy before planning eb games trip.
