Got to give a thumbs up to this chip. I'm a newbie to modding and the installation of this chip was easy with X-bits clear instuctions on website. In windows 2000 compatibility bios is flashed within 10 secs. Only glitch was when I moved xbox and must have knocked chip out of alignment. Tightened chip and haven't had a prob since, even after a good shake too (non-solder version in case you're wondering). Backed up one of my games, burnt to dvd-r, plays no problem.
