After I read alot of tutorial from Forthex, www.how2xbox.com, and ... god know how many. I think I am confident and I give it a go.

I tried to soft-mod my xbox today using SC gamesave exploit. Got to the very end ie. Load SC game, Select Start, got to menu
> Install Linux
> Install UDE
> Unintsall UDE
> Backup ......

I select install UDE, then it ask which UDE to install (UDE or UDE2). It said UDE2 only work for US and Canada. I chose UDE as I live in Australia.

After I select UDE. It an message with
"correct update.xbe not found. Either install dash 4920, 5659, 5960 or add the update.xbe to the package. Cannot install UDE"

Anyone know what it is and how to fix this ?

Can you please elaborate abit more.

Is it just run any game which is Live enable will do ? Do I need a LAN connection also ?

Can you point me to an tutorial of how to upgrade Dahsboard.

Any recommended live-enabled game ? My understanding is dif game may give you a dif Dashboard version.

Also, how do I upgrade my Kernel.
