Aladdin Advanced In V1.6
« on: August 08, 2004, 06:29:00 PM »

So i Installed my aladdin advanced in my v1.6 xbox the other day after flashing it with the m8 bios and it worked great. I rebuilt the LPC on the bottom of the board and connected the d0 point to ground so it is always on. And it worked great. No problems at all. But then today I restarted the xbox after transfering some programs and it started fragging. I did nothing to the bios at all.... I assumed maybe one of the wire's came loose but I checked all the connections with a multimeter and everything worked fine.

I have no idea what the problem could be... could the chip have possibly died.... I'm gonna try a different chip to see but other then that I am lost.  Any help would be appriciated.

Resolder all the connections and it will work.  I have had a few that seemed good when tested with a multi-meter but when the board warmed up it fraged.  Resolder the connections and it will work.
