You need to boot the box from slayers to enable FTP.
Boot Slayers and first select the backup option from the menu. This backs up your eeprom to a folder called backup on the xbox HDD.
Take the IP address from the slayers menu and use this for your IP in Flash FXP.
You have to be running the slayers disc to connect via FTP but it is not necessary to install a dash onto the Xbox first to do this.
