Error Code 12 - How Do I Fix It?

Youve gone over all the solder points and still the same error...well did you check the DVD cables inside the xbox(IDE and Pwr) i had this error today because i was doing another mod but it was my own hurry that caused it...take it apart and check your IDE, PWR And the other one coming from the back of the DVD drive

Ps It is probably the IDE, thats what it was for me...peace!

if your IDE cable and the yellow DVD cable are both properly plugged into your dvd drive and you still get error 12... then your dvd drive took a dump.

swap it out for another one & you'll be fine.
