are you using a usb keyboard or a ps/2 keyboard. Try looking in the bios for keyboard options.

thanks for quick reply dino,  have solved that one, used another pc.  Drive has rebuilt and starts up xbox but only to the menu thing from MS dash, can't go anywhere else, can see memory stick, hard drive but no evox dash or MS dash.  Any ideas
