Few Questions...

hi i have two questions
1. wich mod chip i need 5V ,12V i know that it have to be 256kb or higher!
2. i have downloadet a file named "working xtender 1,1.bin" is this the right file??   (256kb)
if i have the wrong file please email me the right file [email protected]

The chips 'working' voltage would have to be 5V, as that is the line you pick up from the X-Box mobo.

Dont know if anyone has found a 12V pickup yet, I guess there must be one somewhere. I know for sure there is a 3.3V line on the board (Very near the 5V one that xtender uses).

Filename looks right but there are alot of fake images kicking around (Why people do it is beyond me).

Open the image file you have in a hex editor and go to offset $CFA (Hex) and you should see the m$ copyright message the bytes following the message are :-

2E 82 04 D4 2E

This can be confirmed by looking at the Hex dump 'snippet' that remains on 'bunnie's' Site (after m$ asked him to remove the full image).

Not much to go on but its better than nothing.
