that's nothing, I got done and forgot to unplug mine. So when I switched on the powerbar to start up my newly modded box, I had a weird smell. Thought I fried the xbox until someone noticed the hole in the carpet an inch and a half long. Oh well, it has to happen sometime.

thats why you buy a fun little solder iron stand that protects the tip. before i got one, i melted everything from phones to fans, and also had a habit of catching homework on fire.

(you can also make one out of a pipe, but just make sure you insulate it with something so you dont scald your hand when you grab the pipe.)

As far as the case goes.

It was my brother's brand new 1.6b, i just gave him the cover to the 1.0 I'm planning on making a server. So I don't really care about the cover. I just took a razor blade, and made the gash flush.

This thing will almost never be seen.
