Flashing Red/green When Booting Virgin Hd
« on: July 04, 2005, 04:13:00 PM »

I've got the drive in CS mode, hooked up where the original one was, I have the AID 2.0 DVD in the drive, using known good media ('cause I flashed the BIOS with it), and it won't boot. The screen gets all screwy. If I turn the modchip OFF (XEcuter 2.6), I get told it needs service, presumably because the hard drive is blank? Here's my question - if the drive is blank, how does it locad a dashboard? Or is it supposed to be booting from the DVD and not doing it? This has driven me nuts from Day 1 when I realized i had to DEsolder the damn v1.0 motherboard. My progress has been in fits and starts. Anyone who can tell me how to get this new drive working will be my friggin' hero for the month of July, I swear! Smile HELP!
