Get a maxtor 6Y120P0 or a 6Y160P0, both are ata133 7200rpm and 8mb cache so once you junk your xbox they'll be pretty decent for your pc :-) oh and theyre 120GB and 160GB respectivly.

i really like the seagate HD. I currently have a 120g, 7200rpm and have had no problems with heat or locking/unlocking.
I'm currently waiting for a 160 to replace my 120 cuz i'm running out of space. It's silent and quick loading.
Anyone interested in a 120gig seagate?

There's a list of compatible and lockable Xbox hds.
Not every lockable hd is on there though. I just isntalled a 200gb Maxtor hd that wasn't on that list and it was lockable. Hopefully the list is just to give an idea.
Oh yeah, colours on the side relate to the amount of information in the table for that hd, not to the compatibility of it. So hds with a red square means that most of the chart isn't filled in.

if you want to save some money dont go w/ the 7200. it wont show any extreme difference anyway.
also i have a Maxtor 250 GB and it isnt able to be locked if you are looking for info on locking
you have no clue what you're talking about do you?
