Are My Temps Ok?

You can change it by editing your bios with Xbtool or something similar. Check the bios section. Anyone know what fan speed the Xbox is at by default? (In percentage of what I can change it with Xbtool)

Or just use Avalaunch, which allows you to specify fanspeed in the xml file. I set mine at 80%, bit more noisy but quite a bit cooler.
I cheat by running Ava as an app, and even when you reboot to Evox the fan speed stays at 80 until you shut off. Works a treat.

Not too sound liek an complete newbie but how do u check your temp? i have the latest evox dash but cant seem to find the option where u check it. Also how do u get the screen saver to work? Im guessing i have to add some commands to the evox.ini file.. what do i have to add?

46 / 56 v1.0 box what version boxes do you guys have? wondering what colled better the 1.0 fan or 1.1 bigger heatsink smile.gif Also my box has been on overnite smile.gif idle

As ive checked the old Nexgen and it reads

Just a thought...

...but shouldn't you guys post both IDLE and LOAD temps?

I mean, even if you have an hour of uptime, if that is idle, the temps won't rise at all. So i say you load up a game, and then take your temps afterwards.

My temps really havn't changed much.... a few deg here and there... but pretty constant
