Installing Apps is covered in other guides.  Usage guide is listed in my sig ("Backing-up games to the HDD")

add it to ur f: apps folder. u should have a apps folder inside ur f folder. put the dvd2xbox folder in the apps folder. then reboot. it should show up in the evox menu.

QUOTE (Fawk3s @ Oct 8 2003, 09:13 PM)
Nezff pretty much laid it out for you:

Evox will auto add apps and games added to f:apps, and f:games to the launcher.  Therefore, transfer the files that came in the rar'd dvd2xbox file to the apps folder (if there isn't one create a folder) on the f: drive of the xbox.

Reboot the xbox, and dvd2xbox should show up in the apps menu of the launcher!  That is all you have to do . . . smile.gif

thanks.

I read and read.  I heard from a friend that this software corrects the problem with long file names.  I have better ways of making backup of my games but if this software corrects this particular problem, why not try it?

And the F folder would NOT let me make a new folder.  I had to put the app in the E folder and it worked just fine.  I looked at the evox.ini file and it was pointing to that folder.

DVD2XBox copied the game just fine to the XBox hard drive.  When I transferred the game to my PC via FlashFXP, it transferred just fine.  However, when I went to retransfer the game back to my XBox to see if it would skip any files, FlashFXP skipped about 30 files.
