i had installed a few cheapmods, only thing i can think of is maybe you LPC points have a cold solder point... it happends. Try putting a bit of pressure on your modchip while booting it up and see if it boots up, if it does then you know you have to redo the LPC points

check the video cable, orange led flashes means the video cable is disconnected, or it does not work

or in my case, something is broken in your xbox, and noone can tell what is wrong with it sad.gif(i would assume the video port got fried)

i have to replace the mobo to fix mine =

Some reason I think its the powersupply, because I seem to be getting a weird smell.

If your gettin a weard smell there Blake, it's time to open the xbox and take a look. Someting may have burned out, if you look over the circut boards for scorching. If none is apparent then try powering with it open and chek where the smell comes from.

Yeah thats what I did, but the smell doesent come any more....its really weird, I'm confused.. dry.gif I know the smell came from the power supply though, but if the psu didn't work then the xbox wouldn't power on at all..

When I added a switch it did the same thing, so I'm starting to wonder. You guys think SOMEHOW my Xbox delete both its bios's (on my chip and xbox), Should I reinstall another chip and see what happens??

Have you tried changing your video cable?

Your tv obviously isn't getting a signal and that flashing will happen if you turn your xbox on without your video cable plugged in.

If you are running the latested evox bios (4976.02 or >) you should still be able to ftp into your xbox with it flashing like that I believe, have you tried? That would tell you if it's video related.
