Macrovision is a protection scheme that protects the DVDmovies. With macrovision enabled you will not be able to copy any DVDmovie-stream. (copy a DVDmovie to VCR for example).

Macrovision off/disabled means that this protection has been removed.

The Xecutor Bios turns of Macrovision.

I'd like to know if a modified Xecutor Bios/DVDx Player could also turn off CGMS for the XBOX ?

Very few DVD Players can have this turned off as it means hacking into the Bios but it's a useful feature as it would allow you to copy your original DVD movies to Digital VCR's or DVD Recorders.
