First Time Tsop Flashing

I just think its the best method as I have a old drive from a broken xbox with no eeprom that I want to recover the games and movies off then replace with a larger drive and transfer all the data onto the new drive

I also want the drive to be formatted proper so want the xbox to do it etc

My friend can solder, he was useless at it but he had a exam for his course where he had to solder so spent 2 whole days practising and now is confident at soldering(and enough to pass a university exam)

I have a V1 I think xbox since it had a tiny fan on the heatsink when I first got it and already has XBMC softmod on it

What would I have to do to TSOP flash it quickly (Friend is staying till tommorow night so want it sorted quickly lol)

Search for the correct points to bridge for your mobo version, download and burn one of the installer discs like AID/ Slayers/ Hexen. Console has to be modded first so either softmod or chip it, the soldering part is very simple and not much skill is required, just take it easy and be neat .
