i tried to do this 007 exploit but i can't load the game save. it gives me a "cannot load saved game" message. is it because of the game (platinum edition)..?

I have read that some of the version of 007:Auf are patched and cant be used with the gamesave exploit.


Bu as I havent ever used it, I could be wrong.

:unsure:  I bought AUF007 today the Platinum edition and flashed a 1.2 xbox just fine, I used the evox installer, very simiple and fast then I reflash BIOS again with 4979 X2 and works great.

older versions of the platinum game work, newer ones do not, all pre-platinum discs work

And isn't it funny that EB sell second hand copies of 007 Agent under fire for more than a brand new 'platinum' version.

I argued the point and the guy is like 'look mate, i know what you mean but it just aint gonna happen, I know what you're using it for!'

I was like 'well ill grab the platinum and hope for the best'

i bought a platinum version from EB in dublin in mid october which worked - but it could have been in there for a while

you could always rent it out :D

Make sure the memory card is out of the controller too. I've had problems loading the save with it still in there. :huh:

i bought a platnium from futureshop in canada this morning , was a no - go , thankfully i live beside a blockbustervideo and i rented one (another platnium)  
it worked, so.... guess i'll be switching the discs lol

A way you can tell if the platinum version you are getting is the patched one is to look at the serial number on the disc (not the box, sometimes they don't match)
