I asked a very similar question myself just recently here, it should answer your question too :)

I've been using the 007 hack w/ a 1 meg bios.  I haven't had any trouble w/ other boxes.  But now I've got a 1.5 box and everything works I can ftp into the box and even see it running in between the lines.  But I just get a steady fast scroll of a scrambled video display on my tv.  So I'm assuming it's the video chip on the new boxes.  Will switching to this new bios M7 you all think it will fix the Pal, NTSC problem.

Thanks in advance!
