about 6 months ago...... i buy a xenium and it works fine. much later..... then i mess up the mobo. ok fast foward to now. i bought a new mobo and a new solderless adapter cuz i lost mine. mobo works but when i put the adapter in with the modchip the led (on the chip and led board) turned red then went out. i opened my box back up and the modchip felt really hot. now it doesnt even light up. what i want to know is, is it my modchip or the adapter broken? is there any way to find out? or should i just get a whole new chip+adapter.
i've been lookin at the spider gx cuz its solderless, cheap and, has 16mb's of onboard flash. any way i dont want to get a new chip if mine still works .
