Welcome to the wonders of solderless.  You're options now are you can try to solder the wire back onto the adapter and try again, or you can solder the chip in with the pin header or you can pay someone to solder it in for you, or you can buy another solderless adapter.  Honestly, I'd just find someone to do it for you.
