Dvd Window Fucked Up !

hey there..  :(

i think i fucked up my dvd drive. i did a dvd window mod and when i put it all back together.. i got some noises like the cd was jumpin around in there.(the case screw were on thight).

anyone had this problem and how do i fix it.

I bet u accidentally bent the metal holding the spindle whilst cutting the case... just an idea.  <

I did the same thing, except I fucking shredded my drive top lol...

yepp, i just did the dvd mod on my sammy drive and i had to bend it a lil bit back down ...

Yeah you definately bent the metal and now's it's probably touching the cd or something...you'll have to trouble shoot that

just grab a cd you dont care about and bend it a little then try it with the cd,
keep doing this until the cd spins like it did before.  Just make sure you bend it
a little at a time.  ;)   <

yeah.. that was the problem.

i had to bend the spindle part of the cover down...   :D
