You're going to want to try and repair the trace.. here's one method:
http://www.xbox-scen...ce-nosolder.php

If you search Google for "trace repair" then you should be able to find some other tutorials as well.

Guys i hope you can help me too, does it matter that the bottom d0 connection is gone, i mean that ther is no more connection caus the solder pad is gone.
Will the xbox work with just the top d0 connection?
Caus my xbox doesn't start up anymore it does this:
it starts 3 times, with the first 2 solid green and then the third time it does green/red (fragging i think its called).
It does this with the xenon chip and without the xenon chip.

this tutorial describes the same problem so i should try to fix it this way?
--> http://llamma.com/xb...lifted_pads.htm

Any help is apreciated.
Thanx in advance

Thanx for the quick reply,
So the top and the bottom don't use the same connection?
i think i'm gonna try the tutorial cause my xbox doesn't work anymore at the moment sad.gif
I read somewhere that the wire used for installing the chip is the same as used in udma kabels, if this is true are they the same as the old thick(dma 33 i think) or the same as the thin(dma 66-100-133) kabels.

If you've broken the trace for the bottom d0, it should FRAG.

I had the xbox running agian but because xenium wouldn't boot i took the board out again and ofcourse after a couple of times the short wire between the two points came loose again.
I haven't gotton it to work again i think becaus of solder contacting other traces.
My question is could i tape over the other traces with duck tape and then solder so i'm sure it doesn't touch any of the oter traces.
And could i leave the duck tape in place so i don't brake the wire when i remove the tape?
Thanx in advance
