After Os 2.0 Update, Revert Back To 1.1?
« on: June 15, 2004, 06:13:00 AM »

According to Ozxodus 2.0 Beta info it is not possible to revert back to OS 1.1 after update to 2.0.

Someone has started a claim that he has done it.
If that is the case explain how you did it or else it IS just some SAD KIDY JOKE?

Well you got error but does it work OK now after the downgrade, even though you where getting error when downgrading?
If it works fine could you explaing how you made the downgrade thing in more detail.

I have accidently downgraded from xos2 public beta by putting in the wrong xos recovery cd just a minute ago and its working fine again with xos1.1 even the banks i had flashed under xos2 are available just not the names which are reset back to default.

if the recovery bios is hardware protected then how can it be made not to run xos1.0 and 1.1 images after upgrade to xos2?

What am i missing or is the recovery OS not hardware protected after all?

They seemed to have made it clear in the statement that it was impossible to revert back to 1.1, like they have perfected the ACT tech.....  muhaha.gif

Which also makes me woried the ACT stuff could be buggie and kill read Ozx chips. sad.gif

Only thing it seems to do is mess up fake chips when they update the os....

You've only got to be worried about xos2 fookin up on you.... the Stealth ACT is harmless to real chips.... (so far)

I had XOS2 on for about 20 minutes kept having weird little problems and downgraded no prob.  the biggest problem I had was trying to upgrade from 1.1 to 2 in the first place.  It claimed success several times before actually working.

Yeah well downgrading definitely works... I wonder what this means?

Apparently there are definitely some bugs, although I do have to say this is the only one I found.
