Xenium When Fragging...
« on: March 20, 2004, 02:08:00 PM »

I've now tried to install a Xenium into three FRAGging BOXen... not one does anything different.  OzX claims this works... install a Xen in a fragging box, boot to the OS, and re-flash the eeprom.  Sounds simple enough.

If anyone has actually gotten this to work, I'd like to hear from you.  I'm 3 for 3 against.

FYI, the last was a 1.4... same as mine.  Actually took the Xen out of my console and swapped it into the other guy's system.  The chip already has M7 and X2.4981 on it, and the OS-1.1  All to no avail.  FRAG as usual.

Any insights appreciated.

Fair enough Renthal, I'll buy that.  The common response the FRAG in this forumn is to suggest the cause is the eeprom.

May I ask what you suggest to look at with BOXen that are doing the usual on, off, on, off, FRAG???  Is there a general list of causes that I might use to begin troubleshooting?
