1.5? Chip Red Won't Boot

Hey, I am trying to install this Xenium with the chameleon solerless adaptor.  I hooked it up, and the chip stays red, but never changes color and just boots to the MS dashboard.  I thought that if I had a 1.5, the chip would not light up at all?  Does this mean I have a 1.5?  I have fidgted with the wire that goes to D0 and havent been able to get it to boot to the XeniumOS, and I have a controller S in port 1.  Thanks for the help.
