The X3 already has Flashbios in the backup bank. Start the Xbox by pressing power + eject at the same time. The X3 LED will turn purple, and FlashBIOS 3.0.3 will load.

Follow the instructions here to load X3.3294 onto the chip. The rest of the manual explains what you can do with the X3 and a dedicated X3 BIOS.

Don't quote an immediately preceding post.

The bank switches make no difference to FlashBIOS booting. How is your Xbox connected to your TV - composite or component?

That may be your problem. Try a composite cable instead.

Put X3.3294 on the first 1 MB - banks 1-4 (i.e. Switches 1 and 2 in (blue), 3 and 4 out (unlit), then flash the BIOS) and confirm that it works.

Then put the debug BIOS somewhere in the second MB on the chip, using the X3 console to do the flashing (boot while holding the white button on the controller). That way you can use the panel switches to select the BIOS you want, and if it doesn't work you can still go back to X3.3294, and also back to the X3 console.

That means it's working.

I have to ask, what were you expecting? The BIOS simply loads the dash you have configured it to load....
