How did you try to reinstall Evox? FTP? What did you FTP, and to where? Using one of the HeXEn options? Which option? Did you get any error messages?

There is no option in HeXEn that says "Restore Evox".

Perhaps you used one of the options under "5.1 Switch Dashboards", but didn't actually bother to read "5.1.1 Instructions", where it tells you that it only works if the Xbox was built using HeXEn......

Use Option "5.2.2. Install Dashboards", then "5.2.7. Install HeXEn Tools - TSOP / Chip", then "5.1.4.2. Switch to EvoX".

Alternatively, do what it said in the post you were reading in the first place.
