X3 And Rf Mod

I did this mod http://xbox-scene.com/articles/rf-power.php so i can turn on/off my box from my bed but when i hit the botton the orginal bios comes up cuz of the soliderless eject/power thing. i could just take it out but i want it for the back up bios and IR mod in the future. Can anyone help me
