All the Halo SE xbox's I've seen have been v1.4's.

You need to open it up and look at the video chip...
I have done mods on Halo SEs that were bought when they first came out, I went and bought one last week and it is a 1.6 and there is no bios out for it yet.....

I just bought one the other day and i cant find the D0 point on it. The search was down or else i would have done that instead of replying. Where should i locate the D0 once the new bios comes out for it?

i dont know what version it is yet, but it was made in april 04', and what used to be the focus chip now says xbox on it, and the D0 point isnt where the others were

Sorry if I smell of fish.  I actually just bought a Halo LE becaue i wanted to mod it.  For no other reason and when I realized i had a v1.6.  I was worried I wouldn't be able to mod it.

my friends halo green box was a 1.4, i just modded it yesterday, but it has a new ms kernel that does not allow for using the current softmods.
