Bad Flash?
« on: March 25, 2006, 04:11:00 PM »

I just installed a ver. 1.1 SpiderChip into my ver. 1.0 Xbox.
The chip installed just fine and the onboard bios came up just fine.
I burned the X2 bios onto a CDRW with another 50MB or so "dummy file" and flashed the chip.
The screen came up with the yellow status bar saying that it was flashing the chip.
Then the Xbox shut down as it should.  However........when I turned it back on It acted a little strange.
It powered on and off briefly twice and then powered on a third time for good but just frags every time.

Is there something wrong with the chip or was is a bad flash?  And if so can I still flash it with CD/DVD?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
