Also i took the chip out to see what would happen and my xbox turns on 3 times again and the screen on the tv doesnt do n e thing.

Check your video settings (ie. PAL, NTSC)

hey the same thing happens to me i think it is a eeprom issue cause when i turn the chip off the xbox just frags and then the dvd drive wont eject right its wierd. Then when the chip is on the os come up briefly black and white jumping and then stays there for a couple of seconds then crash any ideas if its a bad flash how do i force it to default os or default flash and if it is eeprom how can i fix it with just this xbox and this chip? thanks
