I recently purchased a spiderchip. I have not had any problems yet except that after I flashed the chip I get a code 16. From what I hear the code 16 is due to a dashboard problem. I have read its not able to boot from the DVD drive since the Clock was not set, is that a problem? Any suggestions? I have slayers auto installer v2.6 fianl burned to DVD-R and CD-RW and neither one boots.

Search the forum first next time, you'd have found these very good posts eventually:

Sounds like you modified the dash already as well?  Most newer BIOSes (X2 4979 or greater, at least) will boot past this error.  Look at the first link above, he mentions two ways to fix this: flash your BIOS or drive swap with a friend's UNLOCKED hard drive to set the clock on the Xbox.

In order to re-flash your SpiderChip you'd likely have to install it in another UNMODIFIED Xbox.  Hope you have some buddies, and good luck.
