testing without hdd and dvd should not work .
try to boot with dvd and hdd if all the leds ( chip off 5, chip on 4) are ON.
then normally it should boot spiderOS.
if you get something like red-green-red-... your spider doesnt sit right.
follow hacks advices of installing the chip, the best you can try !
