Spidergx Seemingly To Blame For Xbe Launching Problems
« on: January 03, 2006, 02:52:00 PM »

Hello, I have posted several times in this group about problems with all kinds of XBEs (retail games, imports, dashboards, applications etc.) on my SpiderGX chipped 1.6a Xbox using all kinds of BIOS/dash combinations. Last week I got fed up, returned the SpiderGX for a refund, and bought a Xenium SP.Ice, which arrived today.

With the Xenium installed, everything works perfectly. All games run properly with the chip enabled, applications launch normally from any dashboard, I can return from applications to the dashboard without freezing etc.

This is all with the exact same X2.5035 BIOS, x2config.ini file, and XBMC dashboard and config that I was using so unsuccessfully with the SPiderGX.

My advice? If you can return the chip and buy a different model, do it. It's much less hassle!
