Soldering A 1.1 In A 1.6b

Im thinking about not using the wires that comes with spider ship, where can I find a tut to do a rebuild just so I can use the chip without the wires??

well i mean is there any way to just solder the chip without using spiderchips wires... on the back side of the mobo??
those dame flimsy wires broke off the chip and I didnt wann try to solder them back on...

So if I solder these points together with wires, can I just put the spiderchip in the lpc and it will work? It says for aladin... Whats the do for

do is LFRAME on the V1.6 this signal is needed for activating / deactivating the lpc bus and therefor the modchip.

yes it says aladdin but works fine on spidy. if you want a more detailed walkthrough then try ...

So, will I need to purchase a pin header for your tutorial??

Um, Im not gonna have to do a hotswap am I? Im pretty sure its a 1.6b

Yeah you will need a male pin header , you can get one from here ... Pin Header

Try without the hotswap first but it might not boot on a V1.6b ! Make sure you use the normal ( standard ) av cables and a genuine controller in the spidy menu !

NO The all new Spider Gx is made by a different team cough cough LOL

No it has a new OS and flashing built in !

Another Huge reason why I wanted to do a solder install because the motherboard had solid holes where the wires are to plug in for the spiderchip.... does the new spider chip work the same way?

YES if the via's ( damn small holes in motherboard ) are full of laquer then you can't push the spiders legs in !

 Well the Old Spiderchip team were great inovaters but the new Spider Gx team are even better !

 The new chip must fit all motherboards so well it does not come with a headerpin install option ! So you have to screw the chip down and hope for the best or try some of the sqeeze methods !
