I flashed my bios with Xecuter 2 4981.67 and i want to use a different bios. How can i go about doing this? I tried burning the new bios on a cd but the xbox wont read the cd. Not even the cd i previously used to flash the bios.

yes.  download the slayers evox installation cd for an easy installation.

why do you want to reflash your bios?  yours should work fine, you just need a new dashboard - so you can have many more features.

Slayer's doesn't flash spiders without editing the evox.ini and remaking the iso

Firstly you need to install a dashboard. Use slayers to install a dashboard. Then if you want to reflash your bios there are a few ways but there is really no need .You already have a working bios !

you can use Flash fxp to edit the evox.ini file and add the commands needed to flash from evox.

Add this line under all the other Flash= lines

Flash = 0xbf52,"SST 49LF020A",0x40000


Add this line under the System Management section

Item "Flash BIOS",ID_Flash_Bios

Or forget about using evox and just burn eurasia to a cdrw and use that to flash your bios. Please note eurasia needs the bios to be the correct size in this case 256k. Evox will auto resize for you !
