Doux 2 Can It Be Tested Easily

my 1.6 frags when i boot up with the power button and works normal with the eject . the chips light flashes so i know it gets power. so should i assume that the chip is fine. does any one know how to test the chip with out removing it and trying it in another xbox. then i am curious about, if i fried a lpc port what can i do to fix that. any help would be nice.
