When you flashed the chip did you use CD or network flash if you used network was it a 512 bios? I know cd flash needs 512 bios.

I used network flash and like a idiot used a 256 bios now that chip has had it can't re-flash at all. Both banks just frag. Going to try matrix programmer on the PC and see if that works.  I also tried to hotflash with no sucess got the same error as dpderr

I ended up re-flashing bank 1 with Eurasia flasher disk and a 512 bios.bin disk I am so glad!

I had simular problems with the White version...

I solved it this way...

I soldered D0 & BT on the chip

conneted a Akira 2 to the Pinheader and held D0 to the chassi until the Evox logo appered then i removed the white chip from the ground (D0)
Removed the Akira and placed the Duo X2 White on pinheaders and make sure the red led was flashing...

Then i could flash it in Evox...
