If I install the defaul bios to my x-chip my box will boot to it or if I set the eject button to the xbox bios it will boot to that. If I install the x-chip evox bios it will most of the time just go to the regular xbox bios. Other times it will got to the evox bios what am I doing wrong? I know it can't be connections b/c cromwell starts right up. Can anyone shed some light?

Sounds like you have a 1.0 box, and have mapped the eject button to boot onboard tsop bios.

Solution would be to map another button to boot onboard.

If you press eject while powering sometimes it will overide settings and boot original bios.

Problem is sometimes you want toplay a DVD-R backup and you power up box and go, ahhh shit forgot to insert and press eject.  This happens to me a few times. But its becasue I am trying to eject during the power sequence.
