Yes you need a special bios, any one that support lba48 , basically anything beyond 130GB.

There is a hacked M8 out that includes this and IGR features.

The newest xecuter biso shoudl support as well, i forget the exact #, but highers number means newer

That would be the Xecuter Bios Version number.

You could also use Evox M7 + XBtool, or Evox M8 + Evtool in order to enable large harddrives.
