it is either because. 1) your drive is not locked, or 2) the M$ Dash isnt installed or configured correctly on your Hard Drive.

i had this problem with an xbit in a version 1.0 aswell. it was the stock hard drive and was locked so it couldnt have been what sk8ersublime said, although it might be for you. i resolved my problem by returning the xbit and buyin a xenium.

well...this might be a stupid question...but....are u enabling the right DIPswitch? #4 has to be on for STM to be enabled. cuz its fragging because the BIOS cant be found, but if its giving u an error...its because the dashboard files are not being found

I aint that retarded....my XBit v1.0 works fine in that box so i guess teh XBit v1.5 was sold to me broken. What a rip off.

my x-bit 1.5 is doing this too on a 1.0 xbox. Hmm...wonder what the problem is..

My XBIT 1.5 doesn't work in any XBOX I have, 1.6, 1.2, 1.1, 1.0...

Stupid chip, I don't think it's flashing,

However my XBIT 1.0 works find in all of these machines.

I am also having the same problem, however, My box will not frag when i use SM on the original HDD, only frags when SM is enabled on upgraded HDD. Anyone know how to fix this??
